A poem dedicted to my daughter.

The Life of an Epileptic

We are a unique breed
To be normal is all we plead.
For that wish runs away,
Because our true nature will haunt us till our last day.

For some, hope stays,
But for others, from this path we cannot stray.
For death to us is near,
For we do not know how long we may be here.

Because all it takes is one,
For our lives to be done.
For some the near death experience is real,
And for those the scars will never heal.

For this thing we can barely control,
And on us and others, it takes a toll.
For all we can do is guess and hope for the best,
And pray that God will take care of the rest.

For this is the life of an Epileptic,
For this is my cross to carry, and I accept it.

Reuse Reduce Recycle - Connie Can Crop Guest DT

I am totally honored to be a guest dt member for Connie over on her blog
Connie Can Crop!!! The challenge for this month is Reuse Reduce Recycle.

This is my card for this challenge.....

Almost everything on this card is recycled!!
Lace flower I made from old lace.
Other flower I found in the house we just moved into. It was a pin.
Of course the card board is from a discarded box.
The paper swirls are from a die cut that messed up. I cut the good parts off and used them.
The silver button and leaf was also found here.
The butterfly was a trial die cut. I added some ink with sponge to make it look old.
The little glass bottle came from dollar store with nail glitter in it. I put tiny gemstone chips in it.

I hope you enjoy my card! Recyclables are everywhere, you just have to look!!

You can get the butterfly die here..
And I used The Best Glue Ever on this project...

Thank you for stopping by!!!!

I used the butterfly die to make a window in my card.
The pastel tones of this beauty are perfect for spring!

Inside the card I repeated the butterfly theme with added bling!

Also used The Best Glue Ever!! This really is the best glue ever!!!
